TK CampUS Run 2026

Once again this year, the Vaihingen campus was transformed into a running arena—at the TK CampUS Run 2026, nearly 1,000 runners took to the starting line to complete one or two laps around the campus and the surrounding area. There was plenty to enjoy along the route. Water stations—which were extremely popular given the temperatures—fan zones with wildly cheering spectators, peace and shade in the woods, and, as the grand finale, a grueling climb through the dorms toward the saving finish line. At 4:15 p.m., the starting gun went off for the 6-km walk and the 12-km run—and a little later for the 6-km run. The sporting event offered the right challenge for every skill level.

Despite the hot temperatures, students, staff, and running enthusiasts ran through the varied course—which, as usual, wound its way past the university campus and through the nearby Pfaffenwald—to the loud applause of the numerous spectators. Water stations and water sprays provided much-needed relief from the heat along the route.

The TK Campus Run took place for the first time in 2016. After a hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, the popular race resumed in 2024.
