TK Campus Run am 18. Juli 2019
As in previous years, we decided for the 6 km and 12 km distance. Therefore we have again selected an exciting route for you. The 6 km runners run the round once. The 12 km runners have to run the lap twice. Due to the many construction sites on the campus, there may be changes to the route. We will inform you as soon as possible.
** New in 2019 **
The Campus Walk! This year for the first time you can walk the 6 km as a walking distance.
Before the runs there will also be a warm-up on the lawn in the stadium.
After the award ceremony you can spend the evening together at the Chill & Grill in sun chairs in the green with cold drinks, ice cream and delicious food from the barbecue. And if you haven't done enough sports yet, or if you've been avoiding the run, you can ring in the evening with a round of Frisbee, Headis or Spikeball.
Here is the preliminary route for training runs (subject to changes and mistakes):
- 16.10 pm: warm up together in the stadium
- 16.30 pm: Start 12 km Run
- from 16.40 pm: start 6 km run (in starting groups, divided according to finish time), start 6 km walk/ Nordic Walking
- afterwards award ceremony and Chill & Grill in the stadium
The three first places in the 6 km and 12 km women's and men's overall standings as well as in the 6 km Campus Walk will be honoured. In addition, the best of each age group will receive a certificate. There will also be a team ranking.
The number of participants for a single team is not limited this year. The three time best of each team will be combined after the run and become one team. If there are more than three participants in a team, the next three (depending on the time reached) form a new team of this team. This principle continues for as long as desired, depending on the number of participants in a team. However, the team must start at the same distance.
